Yeah, some of the Biblical deviation was quite bizarre. I was trying to figure out what on earth the point for it was. Particularly the changes made to Joseph and Rebecca. Goes right along with _10 Lies the Church Tells Women_. Startling. Martin Luther and church fathers wrote scathing things about women--their broad hips prove they are good only for child-rearing. A book I have on the early church showed women serving in leadership roles, but the farther in time they got away from the life of our liberating Lord, the less authority they had. Funniest thing.
