Also, the 1968 version of _Heidi_ has been recommended to me, but I haven't seen it yet. I grew up watching:

I'm not quite to the point where the music drives me insane....but nearly. Katy also loves Bibleman. I bought it at a garage sale thinking it might be cute. Whoa. Talk about a Batman knock-off - come on! Let's be original people. GREAT morals, but horrible acting. Katy thinks it's wonderful, though, and it's definitely better than "Shark Boy and Lava Girl".... “Anastasia” isn’t TOO bad - Katy is really into Anastasia right now. I like the girl in Lilo and Stich. I know what you mean by these movies. I also notice the princess is always beautiful, of course. The movie Shreck is great for showing beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This is a good one since the girl is not really beautiful once it gets dark out, but Shreck still falls in love with her.
