Because I know you, I know that you have the gift of hospitality (And hugs for all the times it's been extended to me--especially when we lived closer!), and I think God is giving you the opportunity to use it for His purposes with these people. How amazing is that!!

A mission field right next door. Don't have to go to Nicaragua, Africa, Timbuktu--because just as you said there are hurting people all around us. I will pray for them but also for you, that God guide your every step, every word.

Hi Gina,

I've got kids, and I've got fear. I have two little girls, and honestly, if I stopped to think about what could happen if I get involved with what's going on in our neighborhood, I could paralyze myself with fear. But I think you're right--when we're where God wants us to be, we and our families are the safest place possible.

Sounds like you had quite some adventures. Shall I pray that God sends some more your way, even with the kiddos? :)

Before I had kids I had no fear. I went street witnessing, witnessed in jails and juvie centers, spent months over seas in Africa, often going by myself to small villages (they were expecting me, of course except for the one time a team member and I showed up on this little island unannounced!) But maybe I had no fear because I was right where God wanted me to be, and I'm so glad you're right where God wants you to be, there for those girls.
