About Meredith
I’m an author–a novelist, to be exact. My first two books are SAHM I Am, and @Home For The Holidays. They’re comedies about a group of stay-at-home moms who are friends through the internet. Both books are written completely in the form of emails. They even make me laugh, which is a bit amazing! I got almost all my material for the books from real life–either mine or my friends. I’m a stay-at-home mom, as well as working from home. My jobs include homeschooling my two daughters, writing, speaking, and freelance editing. Plus, I am active at my church, and enjoy spending time with my husband. Our oldest daughter is adopted from China. It all keeps me very busy, and usually quite happy.
I wrote my stay-at-home mom books because someone needed to tell our story, and that ended up being me. I know moms need to laugh, need encouragement, need to feel like they aren’t alone, that other people understand the challenges they face every day. I hope Violet Voices will do that plus one step further–that it will give my readers their own voice, a chance to tell their own stories in their own words.
